When Artisan Silver Cables
first started out back in 2009, its stated intent was to make pure silver
cables affordable for most audiophiles. Since then, as the costs of silver
and other materials have risen - along with the costs of running the
company - we've been forced to raise the prices over time.
So we recently asked ourselves whether there might be ways to get the
prices back down so that we can properly fulfil our original mission
statement.
We have reviewed all
aspects of the business: suppliers, stationery, advertising costs, margins
etc and cut everything "down to the wire" - if you'll excuse the pun! The
only thing that remains resolutely the same is the materials, construction
& sound of our cables - here of course there is no room for compromise.
As a result of this, we can
now announce some very tasty price reductions, which (barring further
increases in materials costs) we intend to keep for the forseeable future.
